AWI Curriculum

AWI is proud to present a 3-year wood curriculum developed for grades 9-12 career pathway completers that will be available to schools at no cost.

AWI’s Education Foundation offers grants to educators and institutions, empowering them to foster continuous learning and excellence as they prepare the next generation of woodworkers.

You Wood Career Awareness Campaign

AWI is a leader in WIRC’s YouWood campaign which aims to expand the industry’s talent pool by promoting the value and opportunities found in the wood industry.

The YouWood website features profiles of high-demand positions, woodworking schools and scholarships, industry information, and upcoming events for job seekers and employers.

AWI IS (Industry Solutions)

To supplement education and workforce preparation, students can enroll in online wood courses on AWI IS.

Our learning platform offers in-depth and customizable courses, complete with knowledge-based industry credentialing at a reasonable fee.
